An everything bagel that’s what I need. With some cream cheese on it cause I’m feeling lean. I just worked out so I need some carbohydrates. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Oh it’s warm like the south. Like a hug from a puppy, It’s heaven in your mouth, and don't buy them from the store cause these taste so good you'll see. An everything bagel yeah that’s what I need! Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups (360ml) warm water (between 100-110°F, 38-43°C)
  • 1 Packet instant yeast
  • 4 Cups (520g) Bread Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Olive oil
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Directions

  1. Heat up water to 110°F and then add 1 packet of instant yeast. Stir and let rest for a few minutes.
  2. Add brown sugar and salt to the yeast water
  3. Sift-in the bread flour and knead until dough is formed
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl and let rise for an hour until it has doubled in size.
  5. Start boiling a large pot of water. Add honey to the boiling water
  6. Put parchment paper on your baking sheets
  7. Take your risen dough and knock back all the air bubbles.
  8. Form dough into a ball
  9. Divide dough into 8 equally sized balls
  10. Preheat oven to 425°F
  11. Shape dough into bagel-looking objects
  12. Cook your bagels in the honey water bath for about a minute each side
  13. Make an egg-wash and coat the boiled bagels with a pastry brush
  14. Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning on top
  15. Bake for 20-25 minutes
  16. Let rest for 10 minutes
