Listen up, I got something to say. I won't make this very long cause I’m feelin’ hungry. I just need a little something that will satisfy me. Like my homemade chimichurri, you can make it in a hurry. So green, so damn purdy. So fresh, so damn herby. Garlic, Jalapeño and the parsley and I can put it on my steak and my turkey.

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch Parsley
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • 2/3 Cup olive oil
  • 4T Red wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Lemons
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Chipotle powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne powder

Directions

  1. Wash and remove stems from parsley
  2. Finely chop parsley
  3. Finely chop garlic and jalapeno and combine in a large bowl
  4. Add olive oil and red wine vinegar to the bowl
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste, the zest of 1 lemon and the juice of 1 lemons.
  6. Finish by adding red pepper flakes, chipotle powder and cayenne pepper.
  7. Cover bow with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to marry.
